Important Designation
Downtown Main St. and surrounding areas of Mooresville have been declared Historical by the National Register of Historical Places. The town celebrated this award at the annual Victorian Christmas Celebration Sat. Dec.6, 2003. This declaration allows for area building owners to apply for federal funds when restoring their buildings. Pictures and information are available at
