The museum, that opened in 1980, is housed in the historic c. 1915 Union Pacific Railroad Depot. Please call ahead for hours of operation
Enjoy a Union Pacific display, geology, western artifacts and much more.

The Nearby Medicine Bow Mountains (aka the Snowy Range) provide many opportunities for outdoor recreation year-round including hundreds of miles of prime snowmobiling and cross country skiing. The North Platte River offers the best in trout fishing!

Saratoga Lake
year-round fishing is available here. A boat dock and campground with hook-ups are just a few of the amenities here. Try not only fishing, but boating, water skiing and wind surfing.

The Saratoga Hot Pool
Many have come to soak in the hot springs over the years. Native Americans used them and considered them to be a neutral area for all to use. Come and relax in the hot water pool with temperatures from 101 to 110 degrees. Restrooms and changing areas are available.
