Dallas Community News

7 July 2016 - Racist shooter murders 5 policemen in Dallas Texas

The murderer told police, who had surrounded him, he "wanted to kill white people, especially white officers," After the police couldn't talk the murderer into surrendering they used a robot to plant and set off a bomb that killed him. The murders took place during an anti-police demonstration. It is not clear if the murderer was associated with the demostration in anyway. While the anti-police demonstration was peaceful in a physical sense, there was plenty of hateful speech.

Many national notables and news commentators have commented on the stunning tragedy. Most condeming it without reservation. A few supporters of anti-police organizations such as "Black Lives Matter" are using social media to express support for the murderer. Other commentators while not agreeing with the murderers actions, expressed there understanding why someone might want to kill policeman (because of the way police treat black people).

It appears that the bad feelings(and hatred) toward the police, although not necessarily new, is being more outwordly expressed by violence.
