Captain Larry G. Atkinson, (USAF Ret.), a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer during the Cold War, serving both the Nixon and later Ford Administrations, is credited for advancing the fall of the Berlin Wall. Mobridge honors Captain Atkinson every year on the date of his birth, January 2nd.
