The Hurley Bulldog track team just started practice a couple of weeks ago. Head Coach Bill Hansen hopes for a successful year. "With the good numbers we have this year we should be very competative and do some damage this year," replied Coach Hansen when he was asked how the team would do this year. Chris Nielson, a junior discus and shot put thrower should lead the boys team. He should qualify for the state track meet this year. The 400 meter, 800 meter, and medley relays should be tough. We are hoping for a successful season. Our first track meet will be the Turner County Relays in Parker, SD on April 7.
