Rush Springs, OK is known as the Watermelon Capitol of the World. Has had a
watermelon festival for 52 years attracting over 20,000 people each year from
around the world. Watermelons are still known as a livelihood of the
community as it was in the days they were shipped out in train cars....now via
trucks.
