Harold Harvell pioneered the first fully operational 911 grid in the Town of Goldsby by initiating a program to name all streets, give all houses numbers and oversee the funding and completion of this project which will be running 2002.

Goldsby, Oklahoma obtained its first bank. First American Bank & Trust Company opened a Goldsby Branch.
