Here is another Hamburg, NY is the home of the hamburger. The hamburger was invented when two brothers who were selling sausages at the Erie County Fair ran out of sausages. A local butcher offered ground beef as an alternative, and the brothers shaped this into a patty and the Hamburger was born.
