Art Festival
Sponsored by the Sandpiper Gallery in Polson
Place: Courthouse Lawn in Polson
10 am to 5 pm
Painting in oil and watercolor, drawing, photography and woodcarving,as well as stained glass and other crafts are offered for viewing and for sale, all by artists in the Flathead and Mission valleys and elsewhere.
This festival has been held annually for a good many years. Entertainmentand refreshments are on hand, while people check out the exhibits.

The sponsoring Sandpiper Gallery is a non-profit association of local artists. The gallery itself is located at 2 East First Street, in Polson,and is open from February through December. Shows change monthly; the March, 1998 show features work by the gallery members: oils, watercolors,photographs and other media.
The gift shop offers cards, watercolor paintings, woodcarvings and unique items by artists from the Flathead-Mission region and elsewhere.
