Western Skies Scenic Byway (West End)

Take the road less traveled ã the Western Skies Scenic Byway. While others are merely making time on Interstate 80, you'll be making tracks along Highway 44 ã a scenic alternative. Follow signs from Missouri Valley to and through Woodbine, Harlan, Elk Horn/Kimballton, Guthrie Center, Panora and Stuart.
Loess Hills, Steamboat Bertrand, Union Pacific Railroad for trainwatchers, White House Bed and Breakfast, Harrison County Historical Musuem, Missouri River, Apple Orchard Inn Bed & Breakfast, Religious Museum, 165 businesses, 16 churches, 5 schools.

Missouri Valley is working hard to attract new manufacturing business to Missouri Valley, as well as any other business. The city has built a "Spec Building" to attract business, 17 miles to Omaha and Council Bluffs by interstate, Has access to 2 railroads, interstate runs through the city, also federal hwy #30. 9 miles from Missouri River, and 11 miles from Blair NE. Excellent spot for new business. Rapidly growing city.
