FFA Historical and Ag Museum
First & Chestnut Streets
The museum opened in 1970. In 1974, a grant was received which helped to purchase the old fire station and town hall, built in 1876. The old jail was also there and is now used as the reception center for the museum. The FFA ran the museum for a number of years, but when the growth caused more of a time involvement, the museum was turned over to the city to run. The FFA still is a great part of the upkeep of the museum. You may see varied exhibits including doctor and dentist offices and a barbershop.
